This spanish style for babel provides the functionality intented
for the Spanish language when babel 3.7 comes to light. Very
likely, its implementation will change in babel 3.7 because there
are part of code for it to work with 3.6; thus, it's should be
considered neither part of babel 3.7 nor babel 3.6.

To repeat: These files are not part of the babel package but extend
its functionality.  When you find a problem with them, please contact

Installation procedure
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

To use spanish typeset spanish.ins. The files
spanish.ldf and esbst.sty are generated, which you should
move to the babel directory. romanidx.tex is also generated,
which may be placed anywhere you like. Note: the old spanish
must be moved to a place where latex cannot find it.

For further details typeset spanish.dtx, which regrettably
is in Spanish only.

Instalacion
~~~~~~~~~~~

Para usar spanish hay que componer spanish.ins. Se generaran
los archivos spanish.ldf and esbst.sty, que se han de mover
al directorio de babel. Tambien se genera romanidx.tex, que
se puede poner donde se crea conveniente. Nota: el antiguo
spanish se debe mover a un sitio donde babel no pueda
encontrarlo.
